Funding Application Coversheets

All external applications submitted through the Office of Research for both internal and external funding opportunities must have a Research Funding Coversheet attached at the time of submission. Three versions of this Coversheet exist, and the one approriate for use is dependent on the type of funding being applied for:

• ARC Linkage-Projects applications
  Combined ARC Linkage Certification/QUT Coversheet (July 08) and Coversheet Guidelines
• Centre for Tropical Crops and Biocommodities (including SRI) External Funding Applications
  Staff located within CTCB including SRI are required to use the CTCB (including SRI) External Funding Coversheet for all applications to external funding bodies. Applications must receive certification from the centre and Faculty of Science prior to submission to the Office of Research.

• Other Applications
  QUT Approval to Apply for Research Funding Coversheet (Aug 08, replaces the QUT Research Grant Coversheet) and Coversheet Guidelines

If there is insufficient room on the forms to list all your researchers please list any additional researchers on the Additional Researchers Sheet.

Why does the Office of Research require a funding coversheet?

The data contained on this coversheet is used for ABS and DEEWR reporting as well as for the analysis of faculty and university research performance, so it is imperative that the submission of research applications is recorded accurately.

The Coversheet also enables the distribution of workload across Chief Investigators to be accurately recorded and ensures that Faculties and Institutes (as relevant) have provided approval for the Office of Research to submit proposals and will provide appropriate infrastructure (eg. time of research personnel, space, equipment, etc) if a proposal is successful.
