Standard Reports

ResearchMaster (RM) records research information in the following areas, with a suite of reports available:

• research projects and consultancies - view a summary of research project and consultancy reports
• publications (research and scholarly) - view a summary of publication reports
• postgraduate higher degree research students (current and completed) - view a summary of postgraduate HDR student reports

Each research area at QUT has administrators who have access to RM and are able to run these reports. If you need assistance or further information please email rm.support@qut.edu.au

Periodic Reports

The Office of Research also provides a range of reports at various intervals throughout the year. These reports are available to Deans, Institute Directors and Directors of Research/ Assistant Deans of Research via the Institute and Faculty Datasets and provide:

• Information that can be used for the annual reports and reviews
• Project grant application and awarded data – for ARC Linkage, ARC Discovery and NHMRC Project grants
• HERDC publication reports – detailing the publications accepted annually for the Higher Education Research Data Collection (HERDC)

Reports to Government

The information stored in RM is used to report to the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR). The Information Analysis Team, using the government submission guidelines, extracts the relevant information from RM. The reported information is then displayed in two areas:

1. Research Pivot Tables - Income, Publications, Students for Higher Education Research Data Collection (HERDC) Reporting
2. QCR website - for RTS and IGS information
