The QUT Scholarly Collection records information on different kinds of:

  • research publications (non-HERDC) and outputs
  • scholarly publications and outputs
  • professional publications and outputs

This information is stored on the ResearchMaster Database (RM) and can be submitted at any time during the year.

Although this Collection does not currently result in government funding, it is used as part of the promotion process and helps to provide a more complete picture of scholarly and professional activity at QUT. It is also likely that for some discipline groups scholarly outputs will be used in the research quality assessment process ie ERA.

Please note that the HERDC Definition of Research does not need to be confirmed for QUT Scholarly Collection publications and outputs.

QUT Scholarly Collection categories

There are two types of scholarly outputs: Print and Non-Print

Print Categories Non-Print Categories

Other Non-Print Outputs, including Patents - email details to rad@qut.edu.au

Please email researchdata@qut.edu.au if you have any additional research or scholarly outputs that you would like recorded on the central system.
