Book chapters or entries in Reference Books that fall into the categories listed below can be submitted to the QUT Scholarly Collection using the
 BX - Other Book Chapter or Book Entry - QUT Scholarly Collection Coversheet (updated August 2008).
The HERDC Definition of Research does not need to be confirmed for QUT Scholarly Collection publications.
Categories
BN - Book Chapters
- book chapters in a scholarly or professional book
- book chapters in a research book which do not meet the HERDC criteria for book chapters
- substantial revisions to chapters in an edited book which does not meet the HERDC criteria
BR - Reference Book Entries
- entries in an encylopedia that do not meet the HERDC criteria for book chapters
- entries in dictionaries that do not meet the HERDC criteria for book chapters
