The role of the Office of Research, within the Division of Research and Commercialisation, is to support and stimulate the development of QUT's research profile through the provision of expert advice and assistance to the research community.
The Office of Research is the registered contact point for external granting agencies and applications for support from competitively-based and all other funding agencies must be administered through the office. This allows for the professional and efficient administration of research grant activity within the University, including the maintenance of important research performance data which is subsequently used for the University's statistics collection and reporting.
